DOHA: Indian expatriates can now submit documents for attestation at the Indian Cultural Centre.

This service is to begin on April 6, 2019 and will continue on every saturdays during the morning hours between 9 and 12 until further notice.

Indian Cultural Centre is located in Abu Hamour.

Following is the full text of the notification announced by the Embassy of India Doha, Qatar on its Twitter handle @IndEmbDoha:

“The Head of Mission(HoM) has approved the acceptance of Document Attestation services such as all Sign in Presence documents, Employment Contract (after duly approved by Labour Section at Embassy), Original document/certificate (duly attested by MEA India), at the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC).

The services would commence only on Saturdays from 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs. from April 6, 2019. India based staff would be deployed at ICC who would be able to provide services on the same day. This arrangement is temporary and could be revoked by the HOM at any time with or without prior notice.”

This will be a huge relief to people who have otherwise had to go to the Indian embassy at the West Bay area for attestation.
