Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) celebrated Qatar National Sport Day 2025 with a variety of sports activities for employees and their families at Katara Cultural Village, with the distinguished participation of the Minister of Commerce and Industry H E Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani.
The celebration reflects the Ministry’s commitment to raising awareness of the role of sports in improving physical and mental health, and encouraging employees and their families to make sports part of their daily life.
The event featured diverse sports activities, including football, volleyball and basketball, as well as fitness exercises led by professional trainers. Special activities were organised for children, including fencing, shot put and hurdle jumping.
Ministry employees expressed excitement for being part of the activities, highlighting the importance of such gatherings in fostering team spirit and loyalty to the workplace. They also acknowledged the role such events play in enhancing communication and collaboration within the workplace.
