Some of Al Shaqab’s best bloodlines horses were auctioned at the Longines Indoor Arena at Al Shaqab yesterday.
Organised by Al Shaqab and Al Rayyan Farm, the overall auction yielded an excess of QR3.5m with many lots reaching well above QAR200,000.
The 35 mares were much in demand in foal auction, which saw some of Al Shaqab’s best bloodlines being offered to a captivated audience. The auction had both straight Egyptian and purebred Arabians.
