Qatar is celebrating Ramadan with various events and interesting activities ranging from MIA Park Bazaar to Garangao Festival and many more.

MIA Park Bazaar

MIA Park is hosting a bazaar till June 5 and you can indulge in various international cuisines at the numerous food stalls or buy unique gifts, handicraft, jewellery, perfumes, toys, clothing and other souvenir items at very affordable prices from the over 150 stalls put up in the Park.

The food stalls include Chinese, Thai, Filipino, Syrian, Turkish, Indian and Qatari cuisine among others.

Ramadan Drive-Thru Festival at Katara

Ramadan Drive-Thru Festival featuring more than 40 food stalls and trucks hosts hundereds of cars every night to sample scrumptious takeaway favourites.

The stalls have been arranged in a circular manner making it easy for motorists to visit the stalls, order and have their food delivered right to them without leaving the comfort of their cars.

At the far end of the venue is a giant screen which acts as a drive-in cinema where football matches are shown, while in the middle of the venue is a stage where Arabic music is played by a local Oud artiste.

There are a whole lot more of food and beverages in wide varieties that can be purchased at the festival such as pizzas, sandwiches, shawarmas, cakes, wraps, noodles, pastries, artisanal, burgers, pancakes, cupcakes, muffins, fresh juices and shakes , among others.

Ramadan Bazaar Markets 2018

The third edition of the popular Ramadan Bazaar Markets 2018 features a variety of homemade products and innovative handcrafts made expertly by 150 entrepreneurial projects and initiatives.

Qatar Development Bank has launched the Bazaar in cooperation with Bedaya Center and Qatar Business Incubation Center.

Garangao at Al Shaqab

Al Shaqab Equestrian Arena is hosting a garangao festival for children, where they can take part in a variety of traditional games and interesting activities such as pony ride, henna for girls, souvenir bag and a photobhoot.

The price for the event ranges from Qr 5 to QR 10 and the ticket can pe purchased at the gate.

Story Telling at Doha Festival City

Children and family can now learn more about the month of Ramadan and its history in the form of enchanting stories and beautiful tales told by a traditional storyteller.

People interested to come are requested to arrive 30 minutes before the event.

Live Cooking Station

Doha festival city is organising live cooking stations for those who would want to display their culinary skills by creating their very own signature Iftar meals this Ramadan season.

Participants are required to come at 8:30pm for registration.
