DOHA: Qatar will participate in the 2014 FIBA 3x3 World Championships to be held in Moscow, Russia from June 5 to 8, it was announced yesterday
Qatar will play in Pool (B) alongside Romania, Lithuania, Russia, Venezuela and Argentina.
This will mark the second edition of the FIBA 3x3 World Championships after the successful inaugural event held in Athens, Greece in 2012.
The 48 teams (24 in the men and 24 in the women’s tournament) from 35 countries will come head to head at the state-of-the-art Luzhniki Park, with the colossal Luzhniki Stadium serving as a unique backdrop.
