Audi quattro Cup Golf on Saturday

Doha: Q-Auto, the official dealer for Audi in Qatar, announced the Audi quattro Cup 2014 to Doha on the 5th of April, 2014. Local Audi customers of different nationalities have registered for the tournament, reaching a total of 144, with more than 18 of those being Qatari.
The Audi quattro Cup Golf Tournament Series was established in 1991. In 2013 Audi dealers from 52 different countries worldwide organized a total of 965 tournaments and over 100,000 amateur golfers participated. More than 1.4 million golfers have taken part in an Audi quattro Cup tournament during the last 23 years.
The Doha Golf Club will be accommodating the one-day event in Qatar, where participants will kick off the tournament early morning, playing at one of the largest golf courses in Doha. Two shotguns (5 hours each) are scheduled to last throughout the day, concluding with the announcement of the winners in the evening. Commenting on the event, General Sales and Marketing Manager at Audi Qatar, Mohamed Talkhawi said: 
“We’re excited to bring the Audi quattro Cup to Qatar, as it has successfully established itself as a sports capital by becoming increasingly engaged in hosting and supporting many acclaimed sports events. We believe this foregrounds the commitment Audi and Qatar share in supporting the Human Development pillar of the nation’s National Vision of 2030. Audi has also hosted this tournament all over the world for decades and continuously strives to upgrade the tournaments in terms of size, skill and atmosphere. We are particularly impressed with having more than 18 Qatari participants and are very excited to see how the tournament will end.”
During the game, 15 Audi models will be showcased at the course, including the A6, Q5, A8 and RS7 amongst others. The winning team announced will be qualified to represent Qatar at Audi’s quattro Cup World Final 2014 in December in DubaiThe Peninsula
