Doha: The 2019 edition of the popular Al Khor Fly-In event will be held at Al Khor airport on February 1 and 2, 2019.

During the two day event, there will be a number of airshows happening with private planes as well as showcasing some of Qatar's most experienced aerobatic pilots.

A wide range of aircraft and aviation technology will be on display at the event, and visitors will be able to interact with pilots and learn about the aircraft they fly. Some of Qatar’s most experienced aerobatic pilots will also be showcased during the Fly-In.

The event is aimed at promoting the sport of flying to the general public, and the adoption of aviation as a hobby, as well as encouraging tourism in Qatar.

The Al Khor airport is located 31km north of Doha, to the east of the Al Khor coastal road. Gates will be open from 8am until 6pm, with entrance absolutely free, and there will be a host of dining options open all day, so families can enjoy a bite to eat while they make the most of the activities on offer.

Ooredoo, a sponsor of the event, will host a booth at the Fly-In offering information and services such as Mobile Money, Hala top-ups and much more.
