New requirements for mobile vehicle workshops comes into effect from tomorrow

Doha: Mobile vehicle workshops are required to comply with new requirements from tomorrow. 

As part of the requirements announced by the General Directorate of Traffic the weight of the vehicle should not be less than three tonnes.

There should be a fully covered rear panel with windows and half of the panel should be iron grilled for ventilation.

There should be a sealed internal basin for the panel (inside the main panel) that prevents fluid leaking and should be well installed.

The panel height should not exceed from the roof of the vehicle by one metre.

The requirements come into effect from Thursday, February 1, 2018.
