33 travellers test positive for Covid-19 in Qatar on Nov 30

Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today recorded 185 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 228 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 136,090.

Out of the 185 new cases, 152 are community cases and 33 from travellers returning from abroad.

So far, 237 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 138,833 and there are 2,506 active cases under treatment.

4,352 people were tested for the first time in the last 24 hours (10,911 tests in total) taking the total tests done so far to 1,112,430 tests.

There are 34 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours taking the total number of patients in the hospital to 280.

3 patients were admitted to intensive care, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical attention in intensive care currently to 32.

All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.

While the restrictions of COVID-19 are gradually being lifted in Qatar, it is important for everyone to play their role in controlling the virus by following precautionary measures:

- Adherence to physical distancing

- Avoid close contact with others, crowded places, and confined closed spaces where other people congregate

- Wearing a face mask

- Washing hands regularly
