Doha: Advisor to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs for Military and Security Affairs HE Major General (Pilot) Mohammed Abdullatif Al Mannai, who is also Chairman of the Ministry of Defence's Executive Committee for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, met with the Commander of Italy's Joint Operation Command Lieutenant General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo and the accompanying delegation, who is visiting the country.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation of common interest between the two sides and ways to enhance and develop them.
Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Qatar HE Paolo Toschi, the Qatari Military Attache to Italy HE Major General Hilal Ali Al Mohannadi, Italian Defence Attache to Qatar HE Colonel Angelo Del Lungo, and a number of officers in the Qatari Armed Forces attended the meeting.
