Legtaifiya metro station to open on Sept 1

Doha: A new Doha Metro station will open on September 1, 2020. Legtaifiya station on the Red Line will complete the 37 stations of the Doha Metro.

Legtaifiya station falls in between the Katara and Qatar University stations and is close to Qatar landmark The Pearl-Qatar and is also one of the interchange stations with Lusail Tram.

“We are pleased to announce the opening of Legtaifiya station on the Red Line on 1st September completing the 37 stations of the Doha Metro The station is one of the interchange stations with Lusail Tram and is located near key destinations in that area such as Katara & the Pearl,” Qatar Rail tweeted.
