Doha: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has released a service where worshipers can search for the nearest mosque and Eid Al Adha prayer ground to their homes.
The service includes separate icons for searching mosques for Eid prayers, daily prayers and Friday prayers, which were reopened in phase 3 of gradual lifting of COVID-19 restrictions.
The user can click the search results and can get direction to the mosques using Google maps. One can also adjust the distance for the search. The service is available in Arabic and English.
The Mosques Management Department at the Ministry has readied 401 mosques and prayer grounds for the Eid Al Adha prayer and the prayer will be held at 5:15am on Friday.
