Saeed rides Crosswell Millie to win

DOHA: Young rider Saeed Hamad Saeed yesterday produced a flawless routine with Crosswell Millie to win the optimum time class at the Qatar National Showjumping Championship. 
Saeed timed his run with perfection as Crosswell Millie clocked a time of 78.72 seconds to finish the 1100cm event in top spot.
Big Jamper - ridden by Nayif Nasser Al Dossari - finished the contest in second spot with a time of 76.15 in the 19-entry field. True Friend who had Mohammed Nasser Al Qadi in the saddle ended on third place with a time of 75.70. Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF) entry Toberlina - ridden by Mohammed Abdulla Saeed - grabbed the fourth spot (74.16).
Tagfart - who had Sultan Rashid Al Marri in the saddle - completed the top five (81.56).
In competition 2, Caresse M G emerged the winner with Mohammed Jassim Al Ghazali in the saddle. Caresse M G clocked a time of 26.98 in the 110cm class. 
Da Vinchi - ridden by Mohammed Saeed Haidan clocked a time of 29.78 to claim the second place. Socrates emerged a creditable contestant, finishing in third spot with rider Alqaqa’a Adel Nassar. Socrates clocked a time of 30.05 seconds.
Amani Housam Saber rode Cindrella to fourth spot with a time of 30.18 seconds while Diamond Delemma - with Ali Yousef Al Malki in the saddle - completed the top five riders.
Diamond Delemma clocked a time of 30.41 seconds.
In competition 3, Natal de st Martin was the easy winner with rider and owner Fahad Al Eid who finished with a time of 54.50 seconds in the 125cm class.
Jessico chipped in with a neat routine to finish in second spot with rider Saeed Nasser Al Qadi. Lekhwiya-owned Jessico clocked 54.96 seconds.
Valuta - ridden by K A Eid - clinched the third spot with a time of 55.21 seconds, Ungarin - ridden and owned by Ali Al Khorafi - finished in fourth spot (55.89) while Vimaira - who had Khaled Almobty in the saddle - clocked a time of 60.11 seconds to claim the fifth spot.
In competition 4 which had 32 riders, Dona Evita was the star entry, winning the 135cm class with jump-off.
Ridden by Khalid Al Eid, Dona Evita clocked a time of 36.55 seconds to claim the top spot.
Bijou van de Vijfheide - with Bader Mohammed Alfard in the saddle - grabbed the second spot with a time of 36.66 seconds.
Senorita was third. Senorita was timed at 37.56 seconds at the Outdoor Arena of QEF.
Blue Thunder, owned by HRH Prine Fahad Bin Meshari - also got on the list of top five entries when it was ridden by Nasser Albagami to fourth spot with a time of 38.77 seconds. 
Vivaldi, owned by Qatar Armed Forces and ridden by Mubarak Yusef - completed the top 5 entries. Vivaldi clocked a time of 33.77 seconds.
QEF officials presented the trophies to top three riders in each category.THE PENINSULA
