Doha: As part of the continuous development of services and facilitating access to them, PHCC has increased the number of health centers that provide urgent care to eight health centers.
As of Friday, October 30, 2020, Urgent Care Service will be provided at Umm Slal health centre.
The Operations Department at PHCC announced that “eight health centers will provide Urgent Care Service in 2020, which comes as part of the continuous development of the health services provided to patients and facilitating their access to these services.”
In addition to Al Ruwais HC, Al Kaaban HC, Gharrafat Al Rayyan HC, Rawdat Al Khail HC, Muaither HC, Abu Baker Al Siddiq HC and Al Sheehaniya HC, Urgent Care Service will be provided at Umm Slal HC as of Friday and the health center will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Umm Slal HC also provides health services on weekends and it is one of the four health centers allocated for testing and quarantine COVID-19 suspected cases.
“PHCC’s efforts are continuing to continuously upgrade and develop the health services provided and all efforts and potential are harnessed for this. This comes as part of our country Qatar’s efforts under its wise leadership to give exceptional attention to the health sector as one of the vital sectors that forms a central pillar of nation building,” a PHCC statement said.
