DOHA: Pakistan's Finance Minister Miftah Ismail said Qatar is “interested in investing in the Pakistani airports of Karachi and Islamabad,” Pakistani Samaa TV reported.

Samaa TV also quoted the Pakistani FM saying that Qatar will invest in other key sectors such as seaports, LNG plants and solar power plants.

"Qatar is also interested in listing on the Pakistan Stock Exchange," Miftah added.

His statement comes after Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif concluded his first official visit to Qatar since taking office in April.
