Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today recorded 211 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 234 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 115251
All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status
The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 118,407 and there are 2960 active cases under treatment. So far, 196 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.
Ministry conducted 5,774 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 620,128 tests. There are 34 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours.
Seven patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 67.
While the restrictions of COVID-19 are gradually being lifted in Qatar, it is important for everyone to play their role in controlling the virus by following precautionary measures:
Adherence to physical distancing.
Avoid close contact with others, crowded places, and confined closed spaces where other people congregate.
Wearing a face mask.
Washing hands regularly.
