Doha, Qatar: Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist’s installation “Your Brain to Me, My Brain to You,” at the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) has been extended until January 15, 2024, Qatar Museums has announced.

The visiting hours for the exhibit are from 7am to 9pm daily, except on Fridays, when it will be open from 1:30pm to 7pm. For those interested in attending, tickets can be booked through the Qatar Museums website. Qatar residents, children aged 16 and below, and One Pass Holders can enjoy free admission, while non-residents of Qatar will be charged QR50, and student non-residents QR25.

The ticket includes entry to three exhibitions.

This unique installation at the National Museum of Qatar offers visitors an immersive multisensory experience, guiding them on a journey of self-discovery, introspection, and wonder, said Qatar Museums.

Pipilotti Rist in an earlier interview described the installation as deeply emotional, expressing her hope that it would transport visitors into a moment of presence, detaching them momentarily from their past and future, creating a shared space for everyone to connect.

The artist also stressed the medicinal aspect of the installation. She believes that culture, music, and visual art can serve as a source of identity and healing, offering a calming and contemplative effect that encourages a more profound understanding of oneself.
