Ministry of Public Health today recorded 273 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 246 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 106849. The Ministry also announced two deaths due to Covid-19.
The Ministry announced the deaths of two individuals aged 60 and 61 - who were receiving necessary medical care.
All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.
The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 110153 and there are 3135 active cases under treatment. So far, 169 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.
Ministry conducted 5505 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 487435 tests. There are 34 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours.
Eight patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 97.
