Doha: The General Directorate of Traffic has concluded its 11th electronic auction for special number plates with the World Cup logo through Metrash2 app last week.
A total of 50 special number plates carrying the official World Cup logo were sold during the online auction.
Based on details displayed on Metrash2, the number plate 811118 registered the highest price of more than QR1.8million (1848000).
This was followed by the second number plate 666662 which fetched around QR1.7million, while the lowest number was sold for less than QR200,000.
As per conditions, the person who wins the auction must contact the traffic department within a maximum of 4 working days.
