News of hefty fine for more people in car is incorrect: Traffic department

General Directorate of Traffic said that the information circulated on social media about hefty fine for more number of passengers in a car is incorrect.

“We would like to inform you that what is being circulated about traffic fine worth QR10,000 for more passengers (than allowed in a vehicle) is not correct” the department said in post on twitter.

The General Directorate of Traffic urged people to take information from its official sources.
