Turkey arrests 181 foreigners trying to reach Greece illegally

Ankara: Turkish authorities arrested 181 foreign suspects in the state of Jnaq Castle, western Turkey.

The detainees, carrying Syrian, Palestinian, Iraqi, Iranian and Eritrean nationalities, were trying to illegally reach the Greek island of Lesbos.

Anadolu Agency (AA) quoted security sources as saying that the Turkish coast guard arrested 181 people, including women and children, off the coast of Ayvalik in Jnaq Castle, adding that four inflatable boats and several life jackets were seized.
