Lulu Group, the fastest growing retailer with global footprints, has launched ‘Let’s Eatalian’ Festival, offering a wide variety food products at the ‘best buy’ prices.
The festival, which is now in its 17th year, celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Italy, with a range of activities, entertainment, and delicious food that will transport visitors to the heart of Italy.
Starting from yesterday and running until March 5, 2023, the festival will bring the wholesome goodness of Italy’s delightful cuisine to shoppers across all Lulu stores in Qatar.
Ambassador of Italy to Qatar H E Paolo Toschi and his spouse Paolo Lisi, Italian Trade Commissioner inaugurated the festival at Lulu Hypermarket, Abu Sidra branch yesterday.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohamed Ahmed M.A. Al Thani, Nabeel Abu Issa, Dr. Palma Libotte Founder and Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Qatar, Dr. Mohamed Althaf Director of Lulu Group International.
The ‘Let’s Eatalian’ promotion brings top-quality food and ingredients to the spotlight, stuffed with the goodness and gourmet taste of Italian food and health benefits of a Mediterranean diet.
A wide variety of excellent cheeses, Italian chocolate, fruit jams, coffee, salt, water, pasta, spaghetti, sauce, puff pastries from well-known brands, and Italian apples, kiwis and other vegetables are on display at the ‘best buy’ prices. The festival is being organised by Lulu Group with the support of the Italian Trade Agency and in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in Qatar. Ambassador of Italy to Qatar said, “Lulu Group is a very good partner. It has significant presence in Italy regarding their business.”
He said that Lulu Group has access to growing number of Italian brands.
“We are proud to encourage them to focus on quality products and sustainable brands especially those Italy is known for.” He said that ‘Let’s Eatalian Festival’ is very successful in providing platform to showcase Italian food products, cuisines, and culture.
“The food is a way to bring people together. It also helps explore new culture and provides individuals to experience the best ingredients of the world,” said the Ambassador.
Dr. Mohamed Althaf said “Let’s Eatalian Festival is part of food festival of Lulu Group. “We plan to organize a slew of exciting events and activities in coming week at Lulu outlets operating across the country,” said Dr. Althaf.
He said that Lulu Group has started tieup with a lot of Italian companies resulting in by May this year a couple of new exclusive brands are expected to add to Lulu outlets in Qatar.
