Honey Exhibition
White, yellow and golden coloured honey have been lined up at the second Souq Waqif Honey Exhibition that was inaugurated this morning.
A total of 124 companies from 20 countries are taking part in the exhibition this time.

Vishal & Shekhar Live
For the very first time Indian singer-songwriter duo Vishal-Shekhar will be performing live in Qatar.
The duo consisting of Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani have been constantly delievering ChartToppers ever year – from ‘Nashe si Chad Gayi’ to ‘Swag se Swagat’.

Biryani Festival
This 10-day event promises to be a great treat for all foodies and food adventurers, where skilled restaurateurs and chefs from the south Asian region will converge.
The entry-free event will also feature competitions, games and a kid’s play zone.

"Circles" Exhibition
The Cultural Village Foundation – Katara opened the art exhibition ‘Circles’ in building 22.
Nine artists joined hands to come up with a creative idea to present their paintings, each of a different art trend but all in the same theme of circles.
As many as 27 paintings were put on display at the exhibition.
Zina Abbara, one of the participating artists in the exhibition said that they decided to change the traditional frame of painting and turn it into circles to break routine and monotony.

Memories from Kuwait’s history
Towards celebrating the Kuwait’s National Day, Katara opened the exhibition ‘Memories from Kuwait’s history’.
Kuwaiti artist Abdelaziz Arti is showcasing as many as 12 paintings at the exhibition depicting Kuwait’s old lifestyle, especially the old markets which some still exist today yet with a modern style.
Some of the artworks reflected the life of sailormen in the past explaining some forgotten details about this popular traditional profession of ancestors in the region.
Other paintings highlighted the different ancient markets of Kuwait from the 30’s and 50’s and focusing on the smallest details of these times such as the costumes and traditional Kuwaiti habits.

Al Adaid Desert Challenge 2019
More than 500 cyclists and runners have enrolled to compete for a total prize bag of $50,000 at the fourth Al Adaid Desert Challenge.
A total of 433 men, 76 women and 27 children have registered for the hugely popular event which will be held in Khor Al Adaid, a UNESCO recognised nature reserve in the south-east of Qatar.
The annual event will see cyclists tackling a 38.5-kilometre route, crossing seven sand dunes on their way to the finish line, while runners will cover a distance of 26.7km crossing four sand dunes in the process.
There will be two kids’ races at the finish line camp, kids aged 7-11 years old can take part in a short race around the finish line camp, while those aged 12-15 years old can compete in a 5 km race on a specially-designed route.

Cultural Diversity Festival
This weekend will feature folkloric shows from Qatar, Russia and Syria.
The festival features an array of cultural performances from different nations around the world and aims to act as bridge between cultures and provide a multicultural harmonious environment.
The festival is free for everyone.

Anuradha Pal’s Group Concert
As part of the Qatar India Year of Culture, Katara in cooperation with the Embassy of India will host a musical ensemble (Jugalbandi) this weekend. World’s first professional Tabla Virtuoso Anuradha Pal will perform at Katara on March 1, followed by another musical night at Indian Cultural Center the next day.
