Maz Jobrani, the Iranian American comedian who is part of the "Axis of Evil" comedy group, will perform in Qatar next month. Post his much-appreciated Netflix special “Immigrant”, Jobrani is bringing his newest tour “Peaceful Warrior” to Doha.

Tickets for the December 6 show are already sold out, so W Doha hotel, where the shows will be held, are adding a second show on Saturday, December7. The show will begin at 8pm and the ticket price starts from QR150.

Maz Jobrani’s performance impresses the audience as he explores interesting and complex topics while still supplying laughs. His jokes focus on race, the misunderstanding of Middle Easterners in America, and also about his family.

“Coming back to Doha is a treat for me, audiences here have a great sense of humour, and I don’t have to worry about a silent crowd! Travelling the world and meeting fans and people from different backgrounds is one of many highlights of being a comedian on tour,” Maz Jobrani said in a statement.

His impressive rise to stardom supported with his laid-back yet sharp wit includes many years on American Television with appearances on popular shows such as Superior Donuts, Grey’s Anatomy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Detour, Last Man Standing and Shameless.
