The 74th Republic Day of India was marked at the Embassy of India in Doha yesterday, with great fervour and enthusiasm and with participation of over 300 members of the Indian community.

“Indeed, this year as we celebrate our Republic Day is special for all of us in Qatar because 2023 also marks 50th anniversary of establishment of full diplomatic relations between India and Qatar. This is a very important landmark in the modern relations, the journey of our contemporary relations between India and Qatar,” he said.

Dr. Mittal added, “The 50th anniversary of our diplomatic journey is a very unique moment to commit and rededicate ourselves to take this important relationship to greater heights as I believe in our relationship, the sky is the limit.
