Doha: On its weather report for weekend, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has forecast mild and partly cloudy weather conditions during daytime. A chance of scattered rain, may be thundery at places, accompanied with blowing dust is also expected.
QMD also warned about strong winds and high seas associated with the expected thundery rain.
QMD issued a marine warning due to strong winds and high seas expected on Thursday (November 26). The southeasterly winds will range from 8-18 KT gusting to 25 KT. The wave heights will also range between 3-5ft rising to 8 ft at some places.
"The marine warning is expected to continue until beginning of next week with thundery rain accompanied by strong winds and high seas where waves height expected to reach 8 ft," QMD added.

The minimum and maximum temperature during the weekend will vary between 23 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The wind, on Friday, is expected to blow mainly southeasterly at 8-18 KT gusting to 22 KT with thundery rain. On Saturday, the wind is expected to blow mainly southeasterly at 5-15 KT inshore, and 8-18 KT offshore gusting to 22 KT with thundery rain.
The sea heights on both days will vary between 2-3 ft rising to 5 ft with thundery rain inshore and 3-5 ft rising to 7 ft offshore during thundery rain.
Visibility during the weekend will vary between 4-8 kilometres/ 3 kilometres or less at places during thundery rain.
Due to the forecast weather conditions, QMD urged all citizens and residents to take precautions and avoid all marine activities.
