Doha: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend adding 38.50 points (or 0.46 percent) to advance to 8,448.35 points yesterday from 8,409.85 on Thursday.
Among the top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 0.86 percent to QR151.80, Qatar Telecom rose 0.57 percent to QR105, Al Khalij Commercial Bank gained 1.80 percent to QR17 and Qatar Mazaya Real Estate Company was up by 1.81 percent to QR10.70
The banking and financial sector index was up 2.53 points, the consumer goods and services sector index lost 11.21 points, the industrial sector gained 12.84 points while the insurance sector dropped 13.88 points.
