Ministry of Public Health today recorded 269 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 274 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 106024. The Ministry also announced one death due to Covid-19.
Ministry announced the death of an individual aged 75 - who was receiving necessary medical care.
All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.
The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 109305 and there are 3116 active cases under treatment. So far, 165 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.
Ministry conducted 3442 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 472442 tests. There are 40 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours.
Two patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 89.
