Doha, Qatar: Now you can pre-order the latest offering from Samsung – Galaxy S9 and S9 plus with Ooredoo. They are also bundling a power bank, Bluetooth headphones and 15 GB data card along with the phones.
The telecom major announced in a tweet that preorder for latest phones from Samsung has started from today.
“Get your hands on the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ device with Ooredoo! Pre-order yours from today (26 February) and be one of the first in. Thats not all you will get free Premium AKG Bluetooth Headphones + 10,000 mAh Power Bank and 15GB Data card,” Ooredoo said in its tweet.
The phones come in three colours – grey, black and purple.
The price for Galaxy S9 is QR2,999 for 64 GB, QR 3,199 for 128 GB and QR3399 for 256 GB.
Galaxy S9 Plus is available for QR 3,399 for 64GB, QR3,599 for 128 GB and QR 3,799 for 256 GB.
Pre-order will be open till March 10 and the official launch will be on March 16, 2018.
Samsung unveiled its new flagship smartphone on Sunday with a focus on augmented reality features as it seeks to keep its title as the world's biggest smartphone maker.
The South Korean firm showcased the Galaxy S9 on the eve of the official start of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The S9 features essentially the same design as last year's previous flagship, with the full screen and curved glass edge of the S8, which was followed by Apple's iPhone X and others.
But it includes louder sound, a faster processor and software that turns selfies into animated emojis, which will appeal to consumers who are increasingly preferring to use their phones to send text messages rather than talking.
Samsung also included a dual lense camara on the Galaxy S line for the first time, which will improve low-light capture and enhance slow motion video, which is popular on social media.
