Doha: A man is under trail for killing his colleague with a punch on his face.
Al Sharq newspaper reported that incident was a fall out of the refusal by the victim to give a ride to the accused.
It was learnt during the trial that the accused resident had asked his colleague to give him a ride to someplace outside Doha, which he refused.
The defendant confronted the colleague the same day about the refusal. This turned into a violent argument as the accused landed powerful punches on the victim’s face and chest.
The punch left the victim with bleeding lips and he fell on the ground. On his fall he hit his head on a rock and died on the spot.
In the medical report it was said that he didn’t die because of the rock, but because of the impact of the punch.
According to coroner’s statement, the impact of the punch led to the death.
