Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) forecast chances of scattered rain from Thursday until the beginning of next week.
In a statement on Twitter, QMD said: "Amount of clouds expected to increase gradually from Thursday (November 26) until the beginning of next week with chances of scattered rain in intermittent periods ranging mostly between light to moderate in intensity, may become thundery, at places at times especially offshore."
The maximum temperature is expected to range between 24 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees Celsius during daytime. While the minimum temperature is expected to range between 16 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees Celsius by night in different areas.
During this period, QMD stated that the wind is expected to blow mainly southeasterly in moderate to fresh in speed reaching strong during the expected thundery rain.
"Wind gust is expected to exceed 30 KT associated with low visibility and blowing dust at times and the wave height will rise to more than 8 ft offshore," QMD added.
Given the fast weather fluctuations happening during this transitional period, QMD urged all citizens and residents to take extra precautions.
