Doha: The inspectors at Postal Consignment Department of Air Cargo and Private Airports Customs thwarted an attempt to smuggle banned pills into Qatar.
A total of 179 tramadol pills were found hidden inside a shipment.
Customs further stated on social media that legal procedures and seizure record were made after the seizing process.
Just last week, Customs also thwarted an attempt to smuggle shabo into the country.
