MoPH publishes guidelines to follow while visiting slaughterhouse

Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has published a list of guidelines for citizens and residents to follow during the Eid.

“For your safety and that of others during the Eid, when visiting a slaughterhouse to choose your sacrifice or pick up the sacrifice meat, ensure adhering to the following health guidelines,” MoPH said in a Twitter post.

-- Avoid going to the slaughterhouse during the rush hours

-- Follow the slaughterhouse instructions and guidelines

-- Avoid taking children under 12 years

-- Maintain a social distance of 1.5 meters between you and others

-- Stick to the appointment time given to you at the slaughterhouse

-- Avoid hand-shaking and touching surfaces and equipment

-- Ensure Ehteraz App is activated and the green code is shown

-- Pay by card instead of cash when possible

-- Wear a mask

-- Discard masks appropriately

-- Avoid getting off the car unless necessary
