Indian Business & Professionals Council (IBPC), Qatar and Electronics & Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC India), a premier Indian industry body responsible for forging international business links, jointly conducted an Online ICT business alliance meet” on Thursday, March 17, 2022 which was attended by more than 45 Qatari and Indian enterprises.
Counsellor (Political & Commerce) Embassy of India, Smt. Angeline Premalatha, inaugurated the session, mentioning that Qatar & India enjoy close and friendly relations with strong cultural and commercial links.

In his introductory & welcome address, Asad Wasi, Advisor, Electronics & Computer Software Export Pro-motion Council (ESC India) shared his views on the common vision of the Enter-prises of both the countries, particularly the digitization of the economy, thrust on the startup ecosystem & focus on ease of doing business.
Jaffer Us Sadiq, President IBPC Qatar, mentioned that the Meet explores opportunities for cooperation between Indian IT companies and their Qatari counterparts as well as other users.
Pre-identified Qatari and Indian enterprises shared their business interests at the Meet. Eng Abdul Sathar, Vice President IBPC, in his closing remarks, thanked the Chief Guest, IBPC Management Committee, ESC Committee members, Qatari and Indian enterprises and attendees for a successful meeting.
