She added that Aoun has an attractive design, sophisticated interfaces that provide easy mobility between services and functions.

She said that Aoun offers a total of 93 services, many of them are new services from different sectors at the Ministry.

She said that the application features a follow-up option which allows tracing of applications or licensing process or those related to ownership which were submitted previously such as the follow-ups of building permit, requests for land allocation among many more.

“The application also provides important information about the service centres such as the number of visitors in the waiting queue and working hours,” said Al Madeed. She said the Ministry of Municipality and Environment is at the forefront of governmental institutions which offered services to the public through smart and mobile phones several years ago.

Al Madeed said that the first edition of the Ministry’s application was launched in 2011, and it was followed by many developments, new updates and a number of new electronic services.
