Ambassador of Kuwait to Qatar, Hafeez bin Mohammed Al Ajmi, praised the distinguished brotherly relations between Kuwait and Qatar noting that everyone is witnessing remarkable development of the relations between the leaders of both countries.

“Since the establishment of the two brotherly countries, there have been continuous efforts to enhance ties covering all areas political, economic, trade, investment, military and security cooperation, education, tourism and art. “It is also as an opportunity to cherish the noble positions of our brothers in the GCC countries and Arab countries and friends from the coalition countries. Also the gift by the State of Qatar to the State of Kuwait and its people on its national day celebrations in the form of celebrations being marked under theme ‘Kuwait and Qatar - One People’, reflects the cohesion of the peoples of the Gulf and emphasises the cohesion among the people of the Gulf, which was manifested in the participation of the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait. “The people of Kuwait consider Qatar their second home country,” he said adding, “We have seen the State of Qatar as one of the top tourist destinations of the Kuwaiti tourists. Also Kuwait has always been a favorite destination for Qataris as it is close to them geographically and culturally. Kuwait has become one of the most important markets in the region due to diversity of its markets and its prices.”
