The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) has announced that the Wadi Al Sail area of Al Bidda Park is now closed, and the closure runs until the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in November.

The closure is to carry out necessary preparation for the FIFA Fan Festival that will take place within Al Bidda Park during the football tournament from November 20 to December 18, 2022.

The SC made the announcement today via their Twitter handle.

Football fans will flock to the FIFA Fan Festival at Al Bidda Park, which will show every match live and feature stage performances, food and beverage outlets, cultural activities, and sponsor activations. The FIFA Fan Festival will have the capacity to host up to 40,000 visitors.
