Doha: Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, represented by Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance, wrapped up yesterday a value education summer programme it held in cooperation with Ministry of Sports and Youth with participations from more than 1,000 preschoolers and pre-teens.
The “Summer as We Aspire” Programme is a qualitative educational programme that targets preschoolers and pre-teens at sports clubs, youth centres, Quran learning centres and the public with the aim of instilling Islamic values and investing the students' time during the summer vacation in what is beneficial and guiding them behaviourally and morally.
A variety of sports and physical activities were also included in the programme in order to raise a generation aware and adhere to the legal aspects and Islamic values and able to take the right path according to a straight moderate approach.
