Doha: Cultural Village Foundation, Katara announced that the 6th edition of Katara International Hunting and Falcons exhibition (S’hail) will be held from September 5 to 10 showcasing premium falcons, hunting and falconry equipment from all around the world.
The exhibition, considered one of the largest of its kind, aims to promote the hobby of hunting and Qatar’s rich Arab heritage.
“We are keen on transforming into a global message through attracting participation from different countries around the world to this exhibition and meeting the needs of Qatari falconers and hunters so that they can enjoy their hobby at the highest level of luxury,” Katara explained.
The exhibition will be held at the Cultural Village and will feature stores for selling falcons, hunting equipment, hunting guns, hunting vehicle outfitting and supplies for outdoor sports.
Moreover, the international event will feature all advanced technology tools needed to serve the hobby of hunting. Katara said the companies who want to participate for the sixth edition can register at S’hail website via s-hail.qa.
Last year, 19 countries and 250 companies participated for the fifth edition. Countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Albania, Russia, and other Gulf countries joined last year wherein the exhibition also lasted for five days at Katara.
The season of hunting begins only after S’hail shines in the sky, and in the commercial world of hunting and falconry S’hail – Katara International Hunting and Falcon Exhibition marks the beginning.
Established in 2017, S’hail, under Katara is a globally recognised platform in the country, known for hunting and falconry.
The platform's aim is to preserve and create awareness about Qatar’s rich cultural legacy by organising world-class exhibition, larger-than-life events and activities, awareness programmes and supporting educational and environmental initiatives at both national and global levels.
