Doha: Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science (QWNCECS) organised today a virtual workshop through the “Microsoft Teams” application entitled “A Thread and a Needle” for students of two schools affiliated with the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO), namely (Al-Nahda Primary School for Girls and Al-Iman Secondary School for Girls), in cooperation with the Nomas Center.
The workshop, which was presented by Wadha Al Kuwari, a trainer at Nomas Center, aims to introduce students to sewing to acquire this skill, and help them innovate and create models of hand sewing.
During the workshop, Al Kuwari discussed the concept of sewing and its importance, instructions for its basics, definition of its tools, methods of safety and security, and the introduction of the values learned from the workshop.
