Doha: According to reports in UAE media, airlines flying to the UAE will not accept passengers from Indiawith effect from April 24 midnight.
The Khaleej Times daily quoted notices sent by UAE-based airlines to trade partners.
As per the notice the Covid safety measure will be in place for 10 days.
Passengers who have transited through India in the last 14 days are also not permitted to board from any other point to the UAE, added Gulf News.
UAE citizens, diplomatic passport holders and official delegations are exempted from the above conditions, it said.
Recently Oman, Hong Kong, Singapore and UK have banned travellers from India.
