Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack launched by the Israeli occupation forces on the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, which resulted in the martyrdom of a number of civilians, and considers it a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in confronting these violations, and to work to ensure the full protection of civilians in accordance with the provisions of international law and relevant agreements.
The Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on the justice of the Palestinian cause, and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
