Doha: The Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority H E Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah will be presented with the MEED Lifetime Achievement Award on February 18.
This award will be presented to Al Attiyah at the Qatar Projects 2013 conference for his outstanding contributions to the development of the projects industry in Qatar, as well as the country’s remarkable economic progress.
Following the presentation ceremony Al Attiyah will take part in a live, on-stage interview about his lifetime work and achievements.
“His Excellency Abdulla bin Hamad Al Attiyah is the perfect choice for the MEED Lifetime Achievement Award,” said Edmund O’ Sullivan, Chairman of MEED Events, organisers of Qatar Projects 2013, which this year is celebrating its 10th anniversary of providing business networking opportunity for projects industry stakeholders in Qatar and the Gulf region.
“Al Attiyah is widely known as having engineered Qatar’s impressive industrial development that has had a far-reaching impact on its economic progress in the last couple of years,” Sullivan said.
