Doha: Even as the chill like feel continues across Qatar, Abu Samra clocked the lowest temperature at 2 degree Celsius.
Though temperature remains around 15 degrees in most parts of Doha, the weather gets colder as wind speed increases due to wind chill effect. Another area that recorded a much lower temperature is Turaina (southern part of the country few kilometers ahead of Messaid) where the thermometer dipped to 8 degree Celsius.
In its daily report, Qatar Meteorology Department said that it will be a relatively cold day with some clouds.
Offshore, it will be partly cloudy at times, warning of expected strong wind and high sea till evening, the report added.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly 05 to 15 knot.
Offshore, it will be northwesterly 18 to 28 knot, decreasing to 08 to 18 knot by evening.
Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers.
Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet rises to 5 feet at some places at times. Offshore, it will be 5 to 9 feet, falling to 3 to 5 by evening.
