Doha: A ceremony will be held at Katara on October 23 at 6pm to launch a book entitled Atlas of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The launch will be attended by the Minister of State and President of Qatar National Library H E Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kawari and a number of ambassadors of the countries participating in the World Cup.
Sheikh Dr. Thani bin Ali Al Thani, head of the book’s editorial board, said that the book contains geographic and general information about the 32 countries participating in the 22nd edition of the World Cup in Qatar, in addition to information about their teams and their previous participation in the World Cup.
He pointed out that such information is considered important at this stage when Qatar is preparing to host hundreds of thousands of fans from around the world.
Sheikh Dr. Thani thanked the book’s sponsors, including Al Sulaiteen Group, the main sponsor, and Hamad International Airport, (silver sponsor) which is preparing to welcome hundreds of thousands of fans for the tournament.
He also appreciated Qatar Free Zones Authority and Katara Hospitality for their support.
