The Ministry of Public Health has warned the public against the use of two honey brands - "Wales Golden Honey" produced by Jordan's Al-Kaaba Company and "Eqimedyumly Macum" produced by the Turkish company Therma.
While the Wales Golden Honey contains chemicals "Vardenafil and Homosildenafil", the Turkish one contains "Sildenafil".
The Ministry noted that these chemicals were added without mentioning them in the basic ingredients list, which pose a danger to the health and life of those who have a medical condition against using them.
The Ministry explained that the products are not registered in Qatar and are imported from some countries by individuals for personal use.
