DOHA: Inflation is expected to remain between three and four percent during 2013-2014, but as infrastructure-related construction activities pick up momentum, it is projected to increase to five percent in the following years, Dr Rupert Booth, Senior Economist at ATKINS, said yesterday.
However, he made it clear that the comments made relate to general inflation, and not commodity or tender-price indices. Atkins is one of the world’s leading design, engineering and project management consultancies.
