Doha: Four leading Russian football clubs will be facing each other in Qatar in Match Premier Cup tournament from tomorrow till January 29 at the Aspire Academy.
This will be a great opportunity for football fans in Qatar to see some top tier European footballers plying their trade in match situation and moreover the entry for the tournament is free. Registration is required and the link for the same is given at the end.
The Match Premier Cup, considered to become one of the major events in Russian football, will see Russian Premier League clubs - Zenit, Spartak, Lokomotiv and Rostov – competing for $200,000 prize money.
The tournament is organised by Match TV and co-organised by the Russian Premier League.
“Match TV provides an opportunity for Russian football players, spectators and fans to get acquainted with the venue for the upcoming World Cup 2022, which will be held in the Middle East for the first time,” a statement by organisers said.
Aspire Academy, known for it’s finest facilities, has hosted a number of top football clubs like Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Paris St. Germain, Barcelona, Zenit and many others.
