During their tour, the two legends visited famous tourist attractions and various sports organisations within the country. Gullit visited the National Museum of Qatar, where he learnt more about Qatari culture and traditions. While Robinson’s tour focused more on the sports infrastructure of Qatar, as he visited Khalifa International Stadium, Aspire Academy, and Aspetar Hospital, the world’s leading hospital in orthopaedics surgery and sports medicine. beIN Sports will broadcast the seventh episode on Thursday at 18:00 Mecca Time (GMT +3) on beIN Sports Premium 1.
Speaking on the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Ruud Gullit said: “The FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be spectacular, especially as you don’t have to fly and the fans can use the metro to travel between stadiums - enabling people to watch two matches per day”.
Commentating on the Qatar 2022 stadiums, Paul Robinson said: “People think that the stadiums for the World Cup are still being built, but the stadiums are built and are ready before time”.
