Doha: The Ministry of Public Health has published a clarification on October 14, 2019, about soft drink "Dew", indicating that the drink complies with all relevant quality standard requirements.

The ministry said in a statement published on social media that the lab results showed that the ‘cream-coloured deposit” seen in the drink is orange juice added to the drink in limited quantities. Orange juice concentrate is one of the ingredients mentioned on the bottle/can.

This came in response to a number of queries received by the Ministry of Public Health regarding the presence of some “cream-coloured” deposit on top of ‘Dew’.
